All in a Saturday

We started out the morning with a 5K race.  Well...Reese did.  He ran the Providence Days 5K.

As you can see, he got the blue ribbon because he won his age division.  He was 5th overall!  Mason and I loved cheering him on...I don't think Jaylee really knew what was going on.

After the race, we headed to the Open House at the Logan Airport last Saturday and here are some pictures of our time spent there.

We were able to see some great looking planes.

Even some WWII aircraft.

Mason was also able to fly in a helicopter stimulator.

He was actually doing a good job and didn't have any help from me and he had very little help from the simulator guy.

At the end, we were able to watch a helicopter take off and land several times because it was taking people on rides (for $20 a person) and also see a helicopter and dirt bike race.  The dirt bike won even though we were cheering for the helicopter.

Believe it or not...Mason IS asleep in this picture.  Let's just say he had a good time at the airport.

Later that day...

 We also did a little trimming around the yard and Mason was eager to help take the clippings to the backyard.  He left playing with his toy airplane and swinging in his swing to come help me.  What a good kid!

I didn't post the same picture twice, I just wanted to show that Mason is now doing silly poses for pictures.
